Chronology of cameras Sem

Traduction de C. Akgungor.

In parallel to the Sem-Kim and the Baby-Sem series, Sem manufactured an improved series of 24 X 36: The Orénacs. The Baby-Orénac is the simplest version. Contrary to other Orénacs, on the Baby the focusing is done by rotating the frontal lens and not the whole lens/shutter group. This difference is crucial to distinguish this camera since the name "Baby" is marked nowhere.

The "Orec" shutter reaches 1/400 of a second. The lens is a Cross 2,9/45 mm (manufactured by Angénieux). There is a blocking mechanism against double exposure and a synchro-flash plug.
